Grey Damon, who appeared last season on 'True Blood' as reminder to Ryan Kwanten's character that he's getting older, is playing a new member on the Dillon Lions football team on 'Friday Night Lights' in its final season. In the latest issue of online magazine 'Troix', Grey is interviewed and displays some of his artwork. He is photographed by Lesley Bryce. ('Friday Night Lights' is on tonight on Direct TV)
In Superboy #2 writer Jeff Lemire and artist Pier Gallo pick up where last issue left off, with Conner(Superboy)Kent receiving a visit from Gotham City's own Poison Ivy, looking into the devastation of plant life in Smallville. While Conner cautiously teams with Ivy, Simon Valentine examines the defeated Parasite, and comes up with an idea of his own...
Of cours Ivy was not to be trusted, and once she and Conner find the device that's affecting the plant life, she turns on him...
Simon to the rescue (with his Parasite Frogs)!
Conner takes out the alien device..
But that leads to another mystery as the team of Conner and Simon gels:
The appearance of some weird farmers invoking the name 'Tannarak', an old adversary of the Phantom Stranger (who had made dire warnings in the previous issue) conclude this chapter, which was quite a bot of fun. The relationship between Conner and Simon is like the often implied, but never realized friendship between Clark Kent and Lex Luthor, with Simon using his genius to aid Superboy. Clark and Lex ended badly, but they were only given a history of friendship after their adult enmity had been established. The original 'Superboy' had been stories of Superman as a boy, and they had an inevitability to them, as the reader already knew what would happen to the characters by reading Superman as an adult, published at the same time. Conner's future is unwritten, so the possibilities are limitless.

Tarik of Tempo Models is photographed by Sam Scott Schiavo, and is the ultimate cure-all to the frigid temps here in the ATL! Thanks Tarik and Sam! (Please do not copy images without permission, as Mr. Schiavo was kind enough to allow my posting them. Thanks!)

Maxwell Zagorski, seen in these pics modeling for Gilt Group, made an impression as life model Joel in his first appearance on ABC's One Life To Live (Thanks to Kenneth at Definition Of A Man for recognizing him initially!). Today marked his return, which was cut short by President Obama's holiday press conference.
